I'm noticing today that NorthCom is heavily using the VHF CMD frequencies over RCS, with even the computer dispatch coming across RCS and telling them to respond on those frequencies. Does anybody know if this is an exercise, or is this a change?

Edit: just heard them call dispatch on RCS and were instructed to use CMD 7 instead. Aside from a small handful, they don't appear to be being simulcast across both systems, aside from the computer dispatches and something just now on CMD5

Thank you! I check ScanDiego from time to time, but it doesn't seem to get a lot of traffic, so not nearly as often as I check here...

Edit: I also just learned that the computer voice is named Samantha

Yeah, if you don't train it often you forget, and you'll be fumbling around like a fool when the $h!t hits the fan.
