Looking at a 2 alarm working structure fire in Oceanside today, I see they requested multiple units with an LA designation (LA191, SMGLA46, SNDLA40). I’m assuming these are Light & Air rigs, with SMG from San Marcos and SND from San Diego. Does anyone know where LA191 would be based?

This thread says station 191 is potentially Pauma Reservation. Would that check out for Light & Air 191?

New North Zone Fire numbering

Should be hearing a new numbering system for all the North Zone units starting this morning. For the most part the ID's are being shortened to 3 digits with some exceptions (staff, etc). Example...Engine 1211 is now Engine 121. Medic 1291 is now RA121. Carlsbad - Stations 101-106 North County...

Our fire station has a 2009 Seagrave Type 1 fire engine, and on-duty fire personnel cross-staff a 2015 Pierce Type 3 brush fire engine.

They don't list one on their website, but its possible it was added and the site not updated.

SND > San Diego
19 is the designation for Pauma.
