Northern Santa Barbara County

Anyone in Northern Santa Barbara County (eg: Santa Maria) with knowledge of the new Santa Maria radio systems?

I spent a couple of hours there yesterday, and was able to establish that Santa Maria Police has gone full-time digital encrypted (Motorola system) on both of their frequencies.

Also confirmed that fire moved to 154.355 (159.030 in), PL 127.3. Freq of Nature lists a couple of other fire freqs (without inputs..ugh), but it looks like they've gone on a major licensing frenzy recently.

Anyone know what's up?

For the past couple of months Santa Maria PD has been switching from full digital encription to their dispatchers being only digital and their officers using digital encription. For more information I would ask the question at:
