Anybody catch what happened on the Potomac near Edwards Ferry last night, around 1900? I only caught bits and pieces. There was some sort of extrication and transport of patient by boat (MoCo boat 14) to Whites Ferry for transport. On LCFR 6C.

I believe that a female fell down an embankment off of the Red Rock Wilderness Park trail down that way. Sounded like she fell about 10 feet and did some serious damage to her knee. Because of trail height and her proximity to the Potomac River, it was easier to get supplies to her and extricate her via boat.

Pretty cool call to listen to, though.

Accident - Loudoun County

Sounds like a very bad accident on Lovettesville Road in Loudoun County. I think I heard one patient was DOA and other has pretty bad lacerations.

Pretty wild in Fairfax Co tonight because of the storms. Just now dispatching a 2nd alarm for a townhouse fire that is looking to be multiple houses involved. Box 3000 8915 Gardengate Dr. Ops on 4G

On 4C they're working transformer explosions and power outages along Rt 29.
4D is a structure fire, defensive ops only at this time.

Second house fire just dispatched for Leesburg. It's a big one too. I can see it out my back window. This one is near the airport. Black smoke several hundred feet into the air, flame well above the house. Wish I had a working camera. Ops for this one on 6E.

Serious wreck on Evergreen Mills Rd at Red Hill Rd. Reported that the vehicle rolled over, one ejected, two unrestrained children also in the vehicle. Ops will be in 6C. Scanner feed is online.

Loudoun and Dulles units have been working an outside fire for a while in the area of the National Weather Service to the west of Dulles airport. Ops on 6C.

Tractor trailer overturned over an exit ramp guardrail into a ravine at the I-66/Rt29 interchange. They are working to get the driver out through the windshield. Ops on 4I.

Working house fire in the Ft.Belvoir area. Box 18-13. Two-story single family. Ops on 4C.

Working house fire in Snickersville/Bluemont. Company 4 and 8 and Clarke Co units responding. Ops on 6C.
Unit on the scene reports a 3,000 sq ft house fully involved. Water supply ops on 6D.
2201- Getting a good water source will be an issue, having to relay everything. Embers are landing in the vicinity of Railroad St, worrying the residents enough that they are hosing hosing down their roofs and lawns. Ops for exposure protection will be on 6E.
2225- Requesting two additional tankers in addition to a whole bunch of units already on scene. Tankers on scene are out of water and other units are having equipment issues for supplying water.

Pedestrian Stuck in Sterling

Algonkian Parkway and Countryside Blvd. Not the first time this has happened here. Last time was fatal. Conflicting reports of serious injury and DOA. Ops will be on 6C.

Must not be DOA. Aircare will be coming, has 12min ETA. LZ at Countryside Elementary School.
2237- Aircare-3 enroute to Fairfax with a code blue.

The last incident was January 19, 2007.

Pursuit of a truck pulling a trailer, now northbound on 495 into MD.

I picked it up with FFX Co PD pursuing on the Dulles Toll Rd. Stop sticks were tried and only hit by the trailer. Hit a car, not sure if that was PD or civilian, then a PD call ended up into a wall near the GW Pkwy.

2312- A VSP unit has continued into MD and around the Beltway with Fairfax-1 following overhead to direct him.
2313- It went southbound on Old Georgetown Rd to Woodmont to....PMARS is really bad lots of static, Montgomery isn't involved, so I can't hear anything else directly.
2316- I guess a Bethesda area unit followed for a bit, but it went into DC so he stopped.
2317- Southbound Wisconsin Ave, MSP units atttempting to stop- relayed by Fairfax-1.
2320- Helo chatter on 123.05. Eagle-2 was asking about felonies. Fairfax-1 responded with 'several felonies'.
2324- Vehicle is on M St in Georgetown. Fairfax-1 is clearing, leaving it to Eagle-2.
2329- The trailer came off by the Kennedy Center.
2335- Have the pursuit on Park PD 166.925
2337- East bound on E. Capital. Just hit a county cruiser. 60344M MD tag on a Green Chevrolet. That registration is a stolen tag.
2342- Whitehouse Rd.
2343- Largo Rd on to Rt202
2347- Oakgrove Rd
2348- Northbound Rt301 without headlights.
2350- Right on Queen Anne Rd.
2353- Not a dead end like PD thought for some reason. East on Central Ave, then NB on Pax River Rd.
2356- Now at Rt50
2357- NB Davidsonville Rd, turned about now southbound.
0002- Westbound on Central Ave
0004- Park PD units except for one told to terminate.
0005- Turned onto a dead end dirt road.
0008- Bailout in the vicinity of Rt301 and Central Ave
0011- An ATV came flying out of there. Two black males riding, just stole it.

Brush fire along the Clarke-Loudoun County line along the Appalachian Trail. Ops on 6D, Forestry is now being notified. Jefferson Co is being contacted too.

An ambulance was just dispatched to Redskins Park for an illness. Hmm.

A woman was run over and killed by a truck at the Dulles mail facility around 3:00pm. Loudoun rescue's code for pronouncing one dead is 'code 3'. That's the first time I've heard them use that.

Page Co Aircraft off Radar

Numerous agencies/counties on various frequencies searching for an aircraft that went off of radar 7 miles SE of the Luray airport around 2050. Aircraft is a Piper PA-32. One ICP is at the firehouse on Hwy 340 in Stanley. The N number comes back to a 140 horsepower PA-28 from Jacksonville, Fla.

What a bunch of misinformation going back and forth between the counties that are involved. It sounds like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
