What a bunch of misinformation going back and forth between the counties that are involved. It sounds like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

We've sure come a long way since 9/11. Or not. No interagency communication except by landline. I've been listening to this since 2110 hrs. Not much new info other than a confirmation of the missing aircraft. Helo was on the way from Div. 1. Since 2300 hrs everything has been pretty much quiet.

Funny when one of the troopers was responding to Culpepper and his mic was stuck on and he said "Goldang radio...I swear I'm going to kill it". He later told dispatch he was having problems with his radio and she said "Yeah...we heard it" while laughing. Pretty funny.

Hope the pilot/passengers are ok.

2 Fatalities reported NW of Graves Mill

If they had used SIRS, 154.28 or something common, there probably wouldn't have been so much misinformation going back and forth. I never did hear the info from the 2 NPS Rangers that the aircraft had come right over the top of them and scared the heck out of them because it was so low, get relayed to any of the Counties. I couldn't hear Madison County at all so I don't know how much good or bad info they had.

Fauquier Co Parachute Incident

9272 Green Meadows Rd a high angle rescue of a parachutist on or into a building. Ops are on Charlie.

Ongoing barricade situation in Fairfax Co. Don't know the nature of it, sounds like maybe a suicidual subject. Started around 5am. Negotiations have broken down and they have not had contact with the individual for 1-1.5 hours. Ops on OSB-2. EOD and HRV are on the scene.

The emergency exercise at DCA has just gotten underway. The primary channel is 3C (TG1600). Operations will be on 3E (TG 2192)

A rundown of units shows there are units from Arlington, Fairfax, PG and Loudoun participating.

VSP was pursuing a vehicle, it went down a dead end gravel road and two white males bailed out. It's somewhere in Fairfax Co in the vicinity of Braddock and 495. 159.000

0053- They already have a K9 and Fairfax-1 is being sent that way. Wakefield Park is the area.

Head-on collision on Rt15 in the vicinity of Bodyworks (north of Harmony Church Rd). Early reports of a possible fatality. Units just now getting enroute including VSP. First unit on the scene confirms there is a fire too.

2132- VSP says the vehicle is fully engulfed. 'Doesn't look good'. AR units enroute. Supposed to be four occupants in the vehicle that is burning.

2137- Already saying it seems to be a DUI case. Call in to the Commonwealth Attorney. One confirmed DOA.
2141- Helo will be coming from Manassas.

2144- It was only the heavy intoxicated driver who said there were three passengers in the car. The CA is enroute.

A 17-year old girl is the drunk driver, flown to Fairfax, not very serious. Two people in the other car were priority 4.

Now the local TV news is picking up on the DUI story. Just now NBC reported that the girl had only had her license for 6 months. Still no manslaughter charges.

She should lose her license forever.

Very sad. Conflicting reports on whether the victim was wearing a seatbelt. The drunk driver was not, and was thrown from her vehicle, with only minor injuries. Both articles say further charges may be filed.

Wreck involving a school bus at Donovan and Edgewater in the South Riding area. There are injuries. An AR unit has to respond from west of Round Hill. Ops on 6C.

Bus t-boned a car. No students on the bus are injured. A child in the car will be flown out.

Loudoun is currently cleaning up a fatal car wreck on Gum Spring Rd at Cedar Ridge Blvd. Willow Springs will have two trucks to haul away the mess very shortly. They hope to have it opened up again for rush hour.

About 2:30 there was a report of someone being shot, possibly self-inflicted. I never heard EMS or police finding a patient. Next I heard was a motor unit saying a guy shot and killed some guy and is now on a bus. PD is now in negotiations with the guy. The shooter reportedly said he didn't know the guy he shot, he just wanted his car. Ops on Mt Vernon Ch2 TG16848

1527- Subject wants to speak to the Israeli PM.

Rt 1 and Woodlawn Trail is the approximate area.

1723- An unidentified TG is in use related to this event. 16752 An OSB channel maybe.
19936 the encrypted SERT TG is also being used currently.

1756: Discussing surrender ritual.
1758: Weapon on chin, thinking hard, talking to PD.
1802: Standstill, suspect laughing and playing games.

1810: Suspect says magazine jammed in weapon.

1830: Suspects Attorney on scene, positive outcome expected.

For specific events, VSP may be issued radios from a local jurisdiciton. When the Nazi's held a rally in Yorktown a couple of years ago, everyone (or a goodly per centage because we had VSP, National Park Service, police and sheriff from several jurisdictions) who came in for the extra 'security' got a York county TRS radio.

There is a presidential TFR issued. So I would assume the president is in the area visiting somebody.
