VSP helo N31VA is orbiting the also currently.
1200- Still have yet to see Air Force-2.

On VSP tac, some units are talking about dropping off their radios. So clearly some of them borrowed radios just for this.

1215- Two VH-3Ds just departed Leesburg heading east.

2105 hours VSP 1797 in pursuit from violation 82/55 radar.
2106 I-66 east bound exess of 120 mph.
2110 Now in Arlington at Washington and Lincoln, Rt on Kirkwood, Rt on Fairfax.
2110 Red Pontiac.
2111 back on Washington back towards little league field.
2112 Arlington not willing to assist because no bail out.
2212 going back onto I-66 eastbound from Washington St. over 100 MPH.
2214 Crossing Spout Run / Unit 368 advised to terminate if you get to DC.
2214 Three occupants.
2214 Approaching Rosylin / Key Bridge - notify DC.
2214 All units terminating. Flipping around in DC.

I hate it when they get away!

I was actually on the road last night and heard this pursuit ... I heard the trooper report speeds of 120mph in the beginning, it was crazy .... oh, lol, and the front left tire was out and was shooting out sparks ... idiots ....

Is it normal for the VSP to terminate if the suspect crosses the bridge into DC?

We probably shouldnt document that here - but you can figure it out ;-)

The suspect crossed a median in the residential section when they got off 66 for a minute or two and blew it there juming the curb. Seems the VSP unit crossed the same and did some damage to his car too as I heard the SGT later advise SP07 Dispatcher to add him to the card since he now had to do paperwork related to accident damage to state vehicle.

thats crazy ... I was driving south on 81 and when my bct15 dropped the signal I threw it into my icom 2200 which has a nice tall 5/8 wave 2m antenna ... I was amazed how long I heard it before the signal dropped completely ... thanks for the info

FCPD trying to bring a pursuit to an end on I-66.
Currently on Ch 1, TG16016. The vehicle has hit several sets of stopsticks. Fairfax-1 is overhead. It originally started in Culpeper from what I've gathered.
0540- 330A given the go-ahead to PIT the car since he is the only one qualified to do it. Got him stopped in the area of I-66 and the Beltway.

0543- Seems the driver had a warrant out for him.
0544- Talk of bringing out some tires to FCPD units that hit the stopsticks during the first attempts.
0547- The driver is revoked DUI-related and wanted by Prince William for unauthorized use of a vehicle.

I came in late but this is what I know.

2 Alarm fire
Partial building colapse

Police have peremiter set up with fairfax 1 above the scene.
Belived to be arson from a B & E

Police breaking down perimiter K9 unable to establish a track

Report of a head-on collision between a charter bus and a car on Rt15 at Limestone School Rd. Early report is possible fatality(-ies). Ops will be on 6C.


2040- First unit on scene reports a total of three vehicles involved.
2042- Not a full size bus, something like 20 passengers, some out and walking around.
2044- Helo requested

3 patients: bus driveris fine, one for check out, one to be flown out.

Homeowner reported it through Onstar.

1717- Minor, most units heading back.

Likely drunk driver westbound I-66 bouncing off the jersey walls. It's a work truck. Approaching Haymarket. VSP 159.135

Structure fire 1512 Summerchase Ct. Caller reports flames shooting from the roof. Ops on 4C. Loudoun sending units as well.

2316- Units on scene confirm a working fire.
2319- Second alarm dispatched. 4F will be used also. It's an apartment complex.

And a few minutes later a stabbing somewhere in the Mt Vernon district.

Wreck on I-95 at the 163. Two vehicles were possibly racing, one into the jersey wall is now reported on fire. A trooper rolling up on the scene saw a person running away.

7390 Yarnwood Ct. It will be a defensive operation for now.

Operations on the warehouse fire appear to have shifted to 4K and 4L. Plume of smoke was clearly visible on 95 at around 0900 this morning.

Foot pursuit in the area of Spring St in Herndon FCPD Ch5. Suspect for felony shoplifting.

Was in the area of 7100. They managed to catch up to him in some tunnel.

Structure fire Hot tub fully involved spreading to the house. Box 2-XX, Rambling Rd. in Vienna. ENG-402 is broken down. ENGs-434, 430, 429, 413
Ops on 4D.

2004- Units on scene confirm a hot tub on fire but it hasn't yet spread to the house. I'm done.

Four or five car pileup at 26264 Gum Springs Rd. Confirmed entrapment. Ops on 6D. Reportedly started as a head-on wreck.
Three vehicles with a total of three entrapments.
One red, one yellow and two green patients.
1817-Requesting two helos. One extrication will take a long time.
1821- Medstar-1 from WHC will have a 20min ETA, Aircare-3 less than 10.

Helos will do pilot>pilot coordination on 123.05

Total of 3 green, 1 yellow, 2 red by air, 1 red by ground.
At 1915 the helos are finally out of there.

Clarke Co Fire

Working structure fire in Clarke Co. with 2/3 of the building involved. Sorry I haven't heard the address. Cos 1, 8 and 21 on scene with about 9 pieces of equipment. Jefferson Co covering Co 1 and Loudoun Co covering Co 8. Electric enroute from Frederick Co with 1 hour ETE. I'm having trouble with their P25 on some transmissions.
