Medevac from Rivercreek Pkwy and Parkers Ridge. Not sure why other than a car wreck of some sort, was listening to other stuff whenever it was dispatched. I'm actually surprised the helos are flying with the high winds. Ops on 6C.

0020- Medstar-4 is just about on scene. Patient is a 15-year old male who was riding on the back of a car and fell off. Positive LOC, but currently combative.


0023- Wreck with reported entrapment dispatched for Rt50 and Poland Rd. Ops on 6D. Could be nothing, 3rd party call from FFX Co, no other calls received.

Also at this time, Sterling units are assisting Fairfax Co with a wreck on Dranesville Rd. Fairfax-1 is at that scene.

0027- LCSO has located the wrecked car on Rt50 in front of United Rentals. Caller said it rolled several times.

And this is why I stay at home on weekend nights.

I don't know the history behind it, but Loudoun deputies are in the area around Beaverdam Reservoir seaching for people, hunters I believe. Ops on Tac 2 (1744).

Dispatching a 2nd alarm for Box 22-27 6691 Springfield Mall for an escalator fire. Ops on 4C, command on 4F.
Reporting a knock on the fire but there is a lot of smoke. PD is assisting evacuation.

Foot pursuit of felony destruction suspects in the Ravensworth Rd/Rt 236 area of Faifax Co. Suspects are teens. One has been apprehended, 3 on the loose. K-9 saying there is too much other foot traffic in the area. Fairfax-1 is enroute. Ops on Ch.7 TG17040.

Fiery wreck on Old Bull Run Post Office Rd. Victims possibly trapped inside. Reported as fully involved at this time. Ops on 6C. Loudoun and Faifax units are responding.

2025- Nobody inside, crashed it and bailed.

Gas (Natural I assume) leak at Pinebrook Elem. school located in Aldie off of Rt50.

Washington Gas called it in as an outside gas leak. They have a line struck and leaking. There are 2" and 12" lines side by side and they are unsure which one was struck.

Rt. 50 is being closed at Gum Spring and Braddock. Pinebrook was notified because the road closure wil affect their bus routes.

Engines 9 and 19, HAZMAT 19 and Batalion Chief 603 are on scene. Ops are on 6 Charles.

thanks for the clarification. I heard from a co-worker that was in that part of the county. I then went back and reviewed the audio from about that time. I guess I didn't listen to all of it.

A light aircraft just made a gear up landing at Leesburg Airport. Fire/rescue units and VSP are responding. No report on pilot's condition yet. Ops on 6C.

1824-No fuel leak, little or no injury to the pilot. Other aircraft in the area are discussing plans, like going to Frederick airport.

well, it has been about a year since I saw a plane go down in front of me as I drove parallel to the runway. every time I drive by there I think about what I saw and have this odd feeling like it'll happen again.

Update on the plane at Leesburg Airport: A friend that works over there and is currently there says the guy just bought it, one of his first flights with it and no insurance.

considering it's the same (similar) failure, I would go over it pretty well. I wonder if he looked at that site before he bought it? like www.carfacts.com at least he's OK.

Vehicle is a Cadillac occupied by a suspect for domestic assault.
1530-First attempt at stop sticks failed. West bound Frye to northbound Sutton
1531-Preparing for a PIT maneuver.
1532-Northbound Buckman
1533-Took out two tires with stop sticks.
1534-Now a foot pursuit
1535-Caught him

I was out getting some Chinese food, had the 2096 turned down low, wife was talking

All of a sudden, Fairfax CIB-XX.......10-33 !!!!

Out with a Va. State Trooper, I66 west, w/o Rt. 7100....fighting 3 subjects, on the ground.

Fairfax-1 actually was overhead about the same time the CIB unit arrived.

Wasn't 4 minutes, 10 cops on the scene....the 3 perps were in the silver bracelets quickly.
I imagine we will be towing the azzwipes car to the impound.

Sounded as though the Trooper had some minor injuries, this coulda been ugly.
