Bank Robbery in Mason District of Fairfax County

Not sure of the exact address or bank, but it's in the Annandale area

Units are setting up a perimiter, and looking for a silver Volvo, driven by a black male with a shaved head

Fairfax 1 is unavailable due to a medevac

2 fires in Fairfax:

1st one:
Burke, about 2 hours ago - 9700 Burke View Ct - 4C/4D (now only 4C)
Units arriving onscene reported heavy fire in a guest house. Fire is now out, they're cleaning up.

2nd one:
Alexandria area of Fairfax - going on now - 4901 Tunlar St - 4D
Units onscene reporting fire in 2nd floor bedroom. Fire is knocked down, townhouse is evacuated, units are checking for extension.

Report of water main break down the street from the fire, isn't affecting water supply yet.

Now there's a report of a completely flooded house down the street (4921 Birch Ct) - sounds like an unrelated incident to me - Command is sending E408 to help with that incident.

E404 reports electrical fire in vents. Fire knocked down. They'll be releasing units soon.

E432 arrived onscene and reported single family house fully involved. Began defensive ops
B405 has command
10 minutes O/S. E423 and E416 were just dispatched in addition to the 1st alarm
All occupants are out of house. 1 has burns.

2258 - burned vic has 2nd degree burns. Fairfax 1 is enrt for transport.

2300 - Fire contained to structure of origin. Still a good fire. Will be holding units in excess of 2 hours.

2445 - Command reports fire knocked down.

Armed Robbery in Centreville area

Summer Tree Rd / Centrewood Dr

FCPD Ch 1/8/9

Victim robbed, then thrown out of moving vehicle. Vehicle is a Lt Blue SUV. Last Seen SB on Centrewood. Driven by a B/M named Charles

Fairfax 1 is onscene.

1924 - Fairfax 1 was following a vehicle that matched the description, but it didn't turn out to be it. There is a language barrier with the victim, but he was able to get out the the first letter of the suspect vehicle's tag is "J"

Carjacking/Officer involved shooting in FFX Co. Lookout for 2001 Ford F-250 JPK-8892 occupied by a white male wearing a blue bandana.

Sully district, reportedly one 10-61 and automatic weapons involved. Cops are surrounding the area around Rt28 and Westfields. Other units are at the hospital presumably with a wounded officer and they are forming a perimeter around the hosptial also.

One subject is armed with an AK-47 and handguns.

Officers are clearing the woods in the area of the Sully station.

I'm Moving my updates to the "Fairfax Officer Shot in Chantilly" thread
Dispatched sounds like she's freakin'. They're doing roll call on sully dispatch, I presume because they have a signal 13, and don't know who it came from.

Sounds like they have an officer down.

News says that there is a gunman in camo shooting at PD cruisers

Local news is breaking into programming with reports

Sully Station command reports "all officers are accounted for, and no officers require treatment at this time"

A unit is reporting to be out with the vehicle @ Hawskins/Paddington Ln - Tac team units are onscene and clearing the vehicle

Channel 4 has continuing coverage and is reporting 4 officers hit - 3 in critical condition. WRC 4 is reporting FCPD will be holding a press conference at 5:30 at Fairfax Hospital.

Non-Tactical team ops are being moved to Sully ops 1 (SU9 OPS1)

Westfields HS locked down

My son, who drives for me, was 3 cars behind the officer shot in front of the staton.

Emergency landing at Dulles very soon. US Airways Express flt 3317 Blew a right side tire, possibly two, during takeoff at Reagan DCA. Dulles Dispatch reports that a spoiler is stuck. Expected to land on 1R (128.425 mhz)

Over the fence about to land at 2248. No comms on any ATC freqs at this time.

Landed without incident. The right main inboard tire is blown. The mobile lounge will be brought out for the passengers.

Didn't get the exact address, but it's somewhere in the Lorton area (Box 1930)

9677 Deshmans Ct (I think that's it, but I can't find it on google maps) near Barrett Ct (also, nothing on google maps)

Units onscene reported fire in the basement, with possible extention into the walls. They think that they have a knock on it, but I keep hearing more reports of heavy smoke.

The crappy reception that I get of the Fairfax system here at work isn't helping this much either.
If anyone has more info (situation update, correct address, etc.) please feel free to update this thread.

Hazmat incident at a US Customs & Border Protection building in Newington area of Fairfax

Operations Deputy has incident command. Mobile command vehicle is enrt

Hazmat units are onscene at the customs building where a letter was found with white power inside it. There are reports of 5 people exposed.

1825 - Hazmat unit entered the building about 10 minutes ago

Chevy Chase Bank inside the Giant Food

Suspect described as a Hispanic Male/5'9"/200lbs/Blue Ball Cap/Blue Mirrored Sunglasses/White T-Shirt/Jeans

Weapon was implied, but not displayed. Suspect did not take a die pack.

K9 is enrt, and I'm sure that the HELO is too, but I haven't heard them mark up yet.

Timelapse now is about 7-8 minutes

1920 - Suspect got away with approx $5000 in brand new bills

1921 - K9 will not be tracking due to high foot traffic

1951 - I had stopped paying attention to the scanner when I heard a unit yelling "Foot Persuit" on the radio - Units were in foot persuit with 2 suspects, they got one - the second is a H/M Gry shirt LS @ the hess station on 244/John Marr Dr., heading twd 236.
Unknown if these subjects are related to the robbery, or just coindidence. HELO is enrt for the 2nd subject.

A CIS unit (Detective) was in foot persuit of a burglary suspect

Described as a black male, with a 1 inch afro

Last seen in the wooded area at Perry Penny / Conwell torward Montgomery St.

Double Medevac MVA just across the border this afternoon approx. 4:30PM in Jefferson County. High-speed rear end collision in front of the Charlestown WalMart. Four vehicles involved, 1 was a flatbed tow truck. Five patients total, two flown out.

That explains alot......A group of us, on Harleys, came thru there about 2 hours ago. I saw the marks on the road & wondered what had happened....dam glad we missed that one !!

Double fly-out is not good, hopefully it was due to mechanism of the impact, & not critical, obvious injuries.
