Anyone having issues hearing Hamilton Township FD and Cobourg?
I’ve used the colour code off the Northumberland DMR frequencies but my radio locks to the channel when scanning but no voice. I can hear Cramahe, Port Hope FD and Peterborough (city) no problem with their CC, but not Hamilton Township FD Alnwick/Haldimand and Cobourg.

I am in the north end of Northumberland County and I hear Hamilton Township fire fine. I have never heard Cobourg Fire up here. As far as Alnwick Haldimand try 162.6000, TG400 CC4 Slot 1.

Okay I will try that for Alnwick/Haldimand. As for Hamilton Township FD not sure what’s going on. I have 152.075 double slot set at cc8.
I don’t have any talkgroups set on my DMR radio, so that might be the issue. Everything I have read made me think I needed them set to receive voice just if I wanted to transmit.

Still not receiving Alnwick/Haldimand. I got Hamilton Township. I had to set as slot 2 and another as slot 1. The double slot wouldn’t pull any voice

I noticed in the database that the DMR Conventional Networked system is now deprecated and each site is listed as just as a conventional channel.

Is it still safe to program it as a networked system or should each channel be programmed as it's own OFT (One Frequency Trunked) which either way is technically programmed the same way, you just separate each site into it's own system. I prefer the networked system programming. Less programming to do.

New information was provided that this is not a networked system.

It's really up to you how you want to program it in. One large OFT system is each conventional channel as it's own OFT system.

Thanks for the reply. Ya, I noticed the frequency changes as well. If it scans the same way then, I'll keep it as one whole OFT instead of separate systems.

Haven't heard Cobourg at all. I think there probably still on FleetNet and only switch when on county.

Ok thanks. It's just weird that I can’t seem to get Cobourg unless they switch over to Hamilton Township or Port Hope. I thought that might have been my issue.
