Northwest Central Dispatch 800 interference

I am reading on this site, http://apcointl.org/frequency/combined.txt, of how both the analog and digital trunked systems have interference from 800 wireless. This would also mean that the analog trunked system will be rebanded too. And its reporting frequency ranges of: analog system 806-821, and the digital range of 806-824. we have programmed in the scanner 855-868. Are the lower 800 frequencies the problem, i understand the two different frequencies are base or mobile. I don't understand why they didn't go with a uhf or vhf 3600 digital system. If this system capable to convert to a true apco system with the towers they have now.[/b]

Further readies of this article also indicate that MDTs' are also experiencing this 800 wireless interference. I always hear Buffalo Grove complaining that their MDTs are showing out of range.

In the past couple weeks NWC has had more problems than ever before, especially Arlington Heights and EGV.

i have schaumburg and NWCD analog on all the time its where i live and i havent really heard of any problems

streamwood is having problems at rte 19 and barington rd from verizon site. says both trunked and mdts. that site reports. the only interference i'm having is on the lake county edacs trunked system. i'm 3 miles from nwcd tower at arlington heights and dundee with a nextel tower out my front yard. Units in the area of RTE19 and Barrington Rd in Streamwood have intermittant out of range indications which causes no communications with those units in the area of interference."
