Northwest Ohio Uniden 996XT Owners

Just checking to see if there are any folks in NW Ohio that would like to get together some night or weekend to share their knowledge and use of the Uniden 996XT and ARCXT software. I am new to the hobby and put in quite a bit of learning on my own. I think that I am at the point where I need to tap into the collective wisdom of the user community to help me along.

I know that there is a meeting once a month in Maumee but I am not sure if my request would be suitable for that forum. If there is enough interest, we can set something up at the public library or a coffee shop in the area.

All are welcome to attend the TARE (Toledo Area Radio Enthusiasts) meeting on the 3rd Thursday of every month at Schlotzsky deli on Reynolds Road south of Dussel. Someone there should be able to help you. I haven't been to a meeting in month's because of the gas prices. It's about 90 miles one way for me to go down there. Good luck.
