Last info was from 2016 and was only sent to me as DMR , no specifics

Did you do the 11 day out of Puerto Rico? Might have been with me. 
Here are my findings as of 2 days ago when we got off the ship:
457.525 was a mix of DMR and analog. Mostly DMR. The only people I saw with analog radios were the restaurants, and they used them exclusively. Everyone else on board had DMR radios. CC01 and CC03 were used on the DMR side, with several talkgroups.
457.5375 is DMR and appears to now be used by the Engineering folks. "Starting Diesel Generators," and calls of the like were used prior to leaving port. CC14
457.55 also DMR and was used by both Security and general communications back and forth between the bridge and other entities, especially when leaving port and pulling in to port, where the bridge communicated with various checkpoints. CC03 and CC11 were heard. Bridge traffic took place on CC02.
Shore excursions do not use analog anymore. This is a change from just a year or two ago when I was on the same ship. They are now going through one of the DMR repeaters, but which frequency is unknown.
I did not hear any traffic at all on 457.5625, 468.0875, or 468.3125.

Thank you for the reply. I plan on bringing something to listen with. I probably wouldn't have expected BOTH analog AND DMR, so that is very good to know. I would have anticipated DMR, exclusively, but things aren't always what we expect, now are they?

It's not rare at all. I have been on easily over 2 dozen cruises and every single ship has had a combination of the two. The analog is usually reserved for things like the restaurants, shore excursions, and the casino, largely due to the fact that they can (and do) get away with using cheaper radios and the fact that full ship coverage is not needed, so no need to tie up a repeater slot. Those groups are normally in a very confined space, so it would be silly to tie up the repeater for that. Why they don't use DMR simplex, I haven't a clue, but they don't.
