I'm trying to pick up transmissions from American Ambulance to Backus. I always hear the request for the patch, but nothing after that.

I"m getting the request on 462.950, and also monitoring the input on 467.950. Any tips?

Norwich Med Patch

Back in the day, they asked for a Patch on Med-9 (462.950) and Station 'N' usually always patched them to Med-3 463.050/468.050. The only bad thing, unlike here in the south, this is not a repeater. You will hear Backus Hosp on 463.050 and American Ambulance on 468.050. UHF is line of sight, so if your not relatively close by the Ambulance, you may not hear anything at all. So anyway, punch in those two frequencies, you may get lucky. Whenever someone requests a med patch on Med-9 you have to hear the Med channel they tell them to use.

I didn't realize there was more than Med9 in my area until I took a look at the database after your comments. New London County only listed that. When I checked the State page I found the rest of them and programmed them in, let's see what happens.. Thanks.
