Does anyone have recollection of a past Black & White ink (no color whatsoever) printed scanner magazine from circa June/July 96 or Aug/Sept 96 , perhaps called National Scanning report, or National Communcations, or do you recall whom may have printed an equivalent scanning magazine (direct enquiries with both magazines have yielded nothing & Scanning USA , It was not Pop Comm or Monitoring times, I saw it in Bellingham Washington that year and am looking for an article submitted from a guy from Nanaimo, British Columbia. It was definately an American printed magazine. Any help on the history of these type of publications would be appreciated.

I had several National Scanning Report issues at one time. Had the idea it was connected to Uniden. Seem like info was in their OEM package that came with scanner.

How about Scanner Journal? I have 2 from 1996 that I bought from the magazine section of a local Barnes and Nobles back then. It states on the front that it was "A Monthly Publication of Radio Communications Monitoring Association". They are both in black and white and the content is mostly columns from various states or regions containing frequency information.
