Not hearing OHP on Okla 800

I'm not hearing any talk from OHP on the 800mhz system, been listening for years but lately less and less.
Today NOTHING at all. I live in Okmulgee, using CC 859.4375 / 860.4375. with all ID's listed, using BC396T.
Have they Rebanned or what ,any help would be great

The most likely scenario is your site is going through the rebanding process. You probably need to read through this:

and then add the custom tables to your radio.

I was thinking that the Okmulgee site didn't need to be rebanded.
Course I could be wrong too.

I don't know either. rusd is a long timer on the board, so it is apparent something has certainly changed on the site where he is.

Listing in the DB doesn't quite match the FCC listing.

DB has:

855.46250
856.43750
857.43750
858.43750
859.43750*
860.43750*

FCC has for the Okmulgee site of WPIP616 all but that first one. Someone with an XT scanner and UniTrunker could solve the mystery in a second or two.

Well not sure they must have had the Okmulgee Tower down for upgrades or something, the next day everything was loud and clear again. But what got me this went on for seemed like 2 weeks or more. Before I could hear everyone Troops A,B ,L etc. but not Troop C out of Muskogee , then out of no were the only thing i could hear was Troop C but nobody else. Then overnight everything is back as before, may need to reband just for Troop C. Does anyone know if Troop C has rebanded yet.

Rusd, it seems to me that if you enter a rebanded table, it will still pick up the non-rebanded as well. OKC is rebanded, Norman is not, but I am picking up all traffic on both.

Concerning the OHP issue question/issue: I heard them fine in OKC earlier today, and now, in Tulsa.

That's certainly true for a Uniden radio. Can't speak for the GRE-builts.

See also bswst501's updated list of frequencies. Likely that new one that Unitrunker found is also a control channel.

I have both Uniden and GRE (PSR-800)

After making an inquiry concerning this issue, I had multiple replies, advising
that only the control channel (s) are need to be programmed..

My argument concerning this.... is that a Site may fortuitously decide to change a control
to.... some freq not listed on RR as a CC.

According to Unitrunker it currently show 859.4375 as the main CC with the alternates being 859.4875, 859.9375, 860.4375

854.4625 was initially placed as a CC. Now, the powers that be have deleted it as a freq
that must be imputed.

I had been noticing some problems with Tulsa....went to my GRE software...
and realized, this week, as stated, 854,9625 was deleted in my software's update.

I have since added it back, and now have 'continuity of conversation' again in Tulsa.
