Earlier today (around 11:00am) I hit the road to run errands and heard the middle of a call on the Houston PD South Central/East channel. All I could get from it was that an officer was hurt...being pulled from the water...waiting on ambulance and make sure that all intersections to Mem. Hermann were blocked so they could escort ambulance...and someone was going to pick up officers wife.
Then they changed to HPS channel 8...not sure what freq. that is, but I must not have it programmed since I did not hear much else.
Well, I'm watching the news now and they did not even mention what happened. Does anyone else have any useful info? Also, what frequency is HPD Ch. 8? I though I had all the freqs that are in the Database, did I miss one, or is this one that is not listed yet?

Channel 8, 460.2250, is car-car simplex. You would have to be nearby to hear it.

A diver looking for vehicles in the water had a headache (not a good symptom for scuba divers) when he surfaced, so he was sent to a hospital to be checked out.
