Nothing heard on talkgroup 1795 on RWC for over a day

I had my scanner in talkgroup discovery (but still recording existing talkgroups) and it recorded nothing on 1795 (Phoenix Fire dispatch) over 24 hours. That's normally one of busiest talkgroups and I got nothing. Come to think of it, I didn't hear any fire traffic. Is there some kind of split going on or did fire stop using the trunked system?

Look at your scanner and/or recorder. A1 and K1 have been busy all day.

Seeing that others have reported this talkgroup still as "busy" & being able to confirm this myself via Broadcastify Calls, why not just program said talkgroup into a favorites list?

Assuming you're using a Uniden scanner, be sure the "Fire Dispatch" and "Fire Tac" service types are turned on: Selecting Service Types

I didn't change any setting in the scanner and I have all services turned on. That's irrelevant anyway in talkgroup discovery mode.

Perhaps you're referring to ID Search mode and not Trunking Discovery? In that case then yes, service types are irrelevant. But as I suggested to you previously, program it into your FL if not there already & make sure talkgroup(s) & department aren't avoided being that you said you can't hear any fire traffic
