NS frequencies

I live in Alliance Ohio and my son is really into trains like i was as a kid. I was wondering if someone could give me the best direction or better yet the frequency/frequencies i could use to listen in on trains and yard work as well. Thanx

Not sure on the railroad channels used for your area. But what I did was to set up a few banks in my scanner with the entire 97 ARR railroad channels. This way when i'm traveling in new areas can listen and see what channel are active. You could the same and lock out the ones not used.
