Does anyone have a list for the frequencies used by NS in Portlock, Lamberts Point, and NIT yards? Thanks. I have a Kenwood NX210K2 that I'm using to monitor and everything is set to "MIXED" recieve [so it'll pick up non encrypted Nexedge channels]

It's been several years since I was there, but try 161.190 and 161.250 for starters. Not sure if those are still in use or not.

Also try monitoring the Norfolk & Portsmouth Belt Line:
160.98000 - Road
160.90500 - Yard
160.84500 - Secondary

Barring that, try searching 160.215 to 161.565 to see what pops up.

East from Portlock I think they use 161.25 for the main line to Lamberts Point and 161.19 for the Sewells Point branch to NIT. Haven't noticed anything other than 161.19 in use at NIT.

Lamberts Point is confusing. My info is about 25 years old, and I'm still trying to work it out.
161.25 - main in & out
161.025 - hump
160.44 - empty yard
161.07 - had been listed as Pier 5, which I think is gone. Now NXDN and has shop-type traffic. Similar in Roanoke
160.305 - Pier 6A. Actually, this is the only freq that sounds like Pier 6 to me
161.490 - Pier 6B...haven't heard anything on this
161.385 - Car inspectors? Sounds about right, and I think it's a repeater

Portlock:
160.950 - Listed as Yardmaster, may still be
161.280 - car inspectors...still active, I think
160.335 - repeater with DPL (maybe 156?). Sounds more like it may be at Lambert's Point.

I'm not local, I just visit--so let us know if you find anything helpful.
