Hello,
I've got a GP900 that uses a NTN7143C battery and a NTN1172A charger.
The question I wanted to ask is related to something I noticed on my other radios. I also have a pair of P210 with NTN5521B batteries and NTN5380B charger. There is a notice on the P210 battery that says : "For propper performance on first charge or after prolonged storage - 14 hours minimum charge time. Subsequent charges to be 1 or 14 hours depending on type of charger." 14 hours is the charging time on the "slow" charger for that type of batteries.
So, my GP900 was stored for a "prolonged" time. I read that the "slow" charging of NTN7143C batteries takes 16 hours. Does anyone know if there's a notice or an instruction on new NTN7143C batteries that says to charge them for 16 hours regardless of the charger type after prolonged storage or if it is advisable? Thanks.
