Yes, it is the CHANNEL button in the x36 series. It was the menu button on previous models. My bad.

But, you HAVE to include both dots on the Channel Number Tag only entry. Otherwise, you initiate a direct entry TG/frequency.

That is true. Easier hitting two dots than fumbling for numbers though when your in the right system.

Since the Fav list quick key number and Fav list tag number are two different things I usually keep my Fav List quick number and Fav List tag number the same. Easy to remember that way.

I use number tags while under a system to jump directly to that favorite TGID or favorite conventional channel. This replicates the old "bank" scanner feel. I like the feature quite a bit when you have hundreds of TGIDS or channels in a system. It would take forever to pause and scroll around to find what you're looking for.

If I'm on the right System, I usually just hit the TG and CHANNEL (no dots for direct entry). I too keep the NTs and QKs the same.
