From the Sept 2024 NWCDS meeting minutes - "Adding the Village of Wheeling will increase the authorized staffing by four (4) Telecommunicators, because the center will add a physical workspace (position), and new police talk group. Three (3) of those Telecommunicators will be reimbursed by NWC911. With the cost of the portable radio project and the three-year loan, moving any additional positions to NWC911 would reduce reserves to below the financial policy’s requirement."
Wondering if anyone knows what departments will be on the TG? Also what TG will Wheeling Fire be assigned? Lastly, will Schaumburg PD still have their own TG?
