Did I miss something? When they issued the Tornado watch today,or yesterday afternoon,my NOAA weather radio did NOT activate.162.525 Mhz,originating from Oktaha,Ok.

I did a WX search 162.525 on my Pro 2026,and found only a distant WX station.
All others were ok.

S.A.M.E. code,is set,just no signal!

Switched over to Tul-Coweta transmitter.
I'm glad we did'nt have anything develop here yesterday afternoon.
Anyone know if the Xmitter is down? Scary.......

A few things, make sure the antenna is fully extended, and you might try putting it close to a window. If that doesn't work, or others confirm the outage, you might want to report it to NOAA. http://www.weather.gov/nwr/outages.html

Antenna is up about 30ft on a tower,like I said,my scanners would'nt even lock on a signal.
Just get a distant station if you open the squelch on my Pro-2026,Pro 2004,ect...

That Xmitter is only about 8 miles from here.Tulsa/Coweta repeater booms in.(about 30 miles from here)

Come to think of it,I have'nt heard a warning test in a while on that Freq.
