New FD Dispatch frequency - 148.200 PL 167.9 (Repeater). Also, for anyone who may not be aware, PD/Security switched to a new dispatch frequency a few months ago, 143.125 PL 179.9 (Repeater), known as Security 1.

Thanks DJ...I was not aware of the changes. I will change them asap...although I cannot reach them from here in Toms River, I do frequent the Freehold area often and monitor Earle when I'm in the area.

Used to work there for a company called "Myers Security" I dispatched police/fire also worked the front gate on the mainside. Pretty cool job...I was working on 9/11 and was stuck there for about 18 hours until they re-opened the installation.

No, no indication of any specific channel designation. The way it happened was Tech792 messaged me and said he hadn't heard anything on the old fire frequency for a while and that reminded me that I hadn't either, including the 12:00 noon test they do each day. Today at noon I did a search in the 140.000 to 150.200 MHz range, but my scanner was actually searching through 156.000 because I had set it for that one other time doing a search and couldn't get it to only search up to 150.200. I was getting some activity on some of the other freqs while searching, so I missed the test itself, but heard dispatch radio to 94-1 and 94-2 for verification that they got it, same procedure they used on the old frequency when they were using it., so I'm assuming thats the freq. Will not be here at noon tomorrow so will attempt to verify it again on Tuesday 5/9. Maybe Tech can verify it tomorrow. If I hear anything on it meantime, I will post.

The new frequency was confirmed today by Tech792 during the 12:00 noon daily test.
