NXDN in the 207

Checking in with Digital Frequency Search I am seeing signs of NXDN working into municipal and county systems.

Does anyone with a Whistler or have first hand knowledge that this is happening?

The only NXDN I know about is Triple AAA Tow Trucks!

I can't speak for Maine but I I'm definately seeing NXDN being used by municipalities and county public a safety as well as other uses.

If you were only asking about Maine/your area, please disregard.

Yeah, I was inquiring about Maine specifically. It is trickling in here.

Northeast ambulance uses that system as well.

I'm not exactly sure for what because I hear Knox dispatch them then I hear them on the nxdn system with their other in house dispatch or something? Not sure didn't really interest me enough to listen more.

Generally an Ambulance Services will.
a. Use the Radio system of the 911 Contract
b. Maintain their own Radio system for their Non 911 Contract traffic (Transfers, or to move units into areas, for 911 Coverage due to volume of calls)

Northeast ambulance uses that system as well.
