Does this look right for the #55 Proton Competition Digital Channels from IMSA Weathertech - The RadioReference Wiki ?
System is set to conventional.
Is the delay so you don’t hear the beeping sound (like a phone dialing number sound) at the beginning of the transmission? If you use a 4 second delay vs a second delay, does it cut off the start of the transmission?

It looks good. What would be better is if you set the modulation to be NXDN, it wll result in a more crisp entry to the call opening up. It's not essential to set the RAN, occassionally on some of the MRTC supplier radios they will use two RANs on the same frequency (one for Car and one for Pitcrew Ch). Also add the alternative frequencies listed, the teams will sometimes change between them at different circuits.View attachment 175141

Personally I find 2 secs Delay works best for racing teams, with lots of short calls 4 secs can miss things.
The beeping is from the intercom system and alos used with the TV broadcast, it's not on the RF/radio elements of the comms system.
So auto modulation, NXDN one frequency system? You would have to program as NXDN one
Does this look right? I set frequencies under a Site?
Below was supposed to get posted earlier. I had to unexpectedly run out. I set mine up with each freq as its own site as that's what I read way back.
You have all freqs in the same site so I do not think that will work.
Meant for earlier,,,
If you program the system as NXDN OFT, that lets you define it as NXDN.
Then program each freq as a site, create 1 dummy talk group, and turn on ID Search.
This is of course how to define as NXDN and not sure if this works better than programming as conventional or not. I have one bit of conventional NXDN by me and have it set up both ways as a failsafe. Never really paid much attention to which receives more transmissions. I know some people have said OFT in general (P25, DMR & NXDN) misses transmissions compared to programming as conventional.
