NXDN Railway frequencies near Toronto

I pulled the 182 NXDN frequencies from the Railroad US Nationwide listings and plunked them into Sentinel to see if I'm missing any NXDN rail monitoring. The busiest frequency happens to be 160.215 CN 82 Maintenance of Way. We only have them listed as analog FM.

I'm trying to identify which subdivision I'm hearing. Perhaps, Oakville or possibly Halton.

If it's NXDN then my guess would be Oakville since its no longer owned by CN but Metrolinx. CN sold from Burlington East to USRC.

Metrolinx had contracted PNR to do their repair work.

Outside of the Toronto corridor there doesn't seem to be much (maybe any) NXDN use.

I noticed a peculiarity with the Sentinel programming, but it is probably me not using the software correctly. I pulled all the NXDN Railroad frequencies from the database and set it up as NXDN One Frequency as the other option is to set it up as a NXDN Trunk system. I started listening and the first hit was on 160.215. That is when I started the thread.

It seemed to only hit on 160.215 so I avoided it and then it sat on the next frequency. I repeated this on the next two frequencies and decided this is wrong as it was not moving ahead like I wanted it to. The only good thing it did with this set up was give me User ID's and a talkgroup (1).
I wiped out the 182 NXDN One Frequency and did it over again as Conventional. Changed all of the Audio Types on them from Analog Only to Digital Only. Now I am getting what I want. Have not seen any NXDN on 160.215 like I said in post #1

• 160.2900 AAR 317 possibly Express input
• 160.3875 AAR 330
• 160.5300 AAR 349 possibly West input
• 160.5600 AAR 353
• 160.7625 AAR 380
• 161.2800 AAR 449 possibly East input
• 161.4375 AAR 470 possibly Hump input

All are 0 RAN
