NXDN Upgrade

Recv'd my SDS100 this morning and trying to do the NXDN upgrade and unable to put serial/checksum in.. is there a special way to do this? Z

Define "unable". Your fingers are missing?

When you first register the scanner you have to input the serial from the label in the battery compartment.

When you buy the upgrade, you enter the info from the scanner info menu screen.

NXDN update

I put the last nine numbers in and the last 3 in second spot. When I hit enter it says I need to put 8 digits in.. I do that... then it says 9... keeps going back and forth.... I'm sure its operator error or something very simple

OK... I think theprob may be that when I registered it, I took serial # from screen and NOT battery compartment..... I'll go back in and see if it helps to re-do it

ESN you enter should look like 08800#### (last 4 are also digits). Example 088000084

When you first register it asks for the SN (not ESN).

OK Gang... my mistake.... didn't enter serial# right when registering, I took it from screen instead of inside battery compartment.... Thanks for the help!!!
