NXR 810 Question

Can anyone tell me if the Kenwood NXR 710/810 can be used with a single antenna or if it requires two antennas, My amateur radio group is wanting to upgrade to this and I wanted to make sure we got everything we need before we bought it. Thanks,

It has a transmit and receive port. Requires a duplexer to use as a repeater with one antenna.

IF they already have a repeater, and the idea is to replace what is in place, then you're ahead of the game.
If I understand you correctly that is. There is nothing more to do then swap out the old, and install the NXR.

IF your group is wanting to become part of the WW NXDN HAM group, (you need a KTI-3)
I have all the information on that at nxdninfo.com website.
I also have all the needed documentation on how to setup the
multi-site information and how to set up the raspberry Pi or like devices and the NXCORE.
The network uses Very Narrow FM (6.25) across the entire network. I am not aware of
anyone using 12.5 NXDN (9600) due to the issue with Icoms, they are all 6.25 in digital mode.

Just need a BNC for the RX port and N for the TX, program it up for Mixed mode and have fun!

We don't have one currently, we're paying a third party for service in the commercial band and was wanting to go to our own on the amateur frequencies, I thought the nxr810 had the duplexer built in and that's why I was looking at that particular model. What all would I need to setup an amateur repeater using one antenna?

Nxr710/810, duplexer, polyphaser, hardline, antenna, tower climbers.
Not know where and what you have access to,
Wanted to lay it ALL out there.
1400 about for repeater and kti3.
Duplexer, around 600 to 800.
Hardline look about 2.00 to 2.50 a foot.
Antenna, db420, 900 about.
Polyphasers, 50-70 for two
Tower crew, good guess... 1500 to 2500

Good Lord, I under estimated a little then. Thanks for the heads up for sure. Are there any repeaters (even in the amateur band such as Yeasu) that have the duplexer built in ?
