NY State DEC PD group on Suffolk County P25 system

Doew the Region 1 NY State dec pd have a talk group on the suffolk county P25 system? TY for the 411.

On the analog system it was 2032, so when you do the math to convert it to a P25 TGID you get 127.

I haven't tried to monitor TGID 127, so I can't say for sure that's gonna work.

Yeh I didn’t see TG 127 listed in the P25 system. Didn’t think to do the math myself. TU

I’ve heard them on the old system ( tg 2032) but nothing on the P25 so far.

Yeh I didn’t see TG 127 listed in the P25 system.

On the P25 side, site 4, the tg would be 127. I believe they will end up with two tg's when all is completed. I have seen them on tg 127 and 129 on site 4. Neither tg are in the database on P25 side yet as they are not really active yet with any consistent activity and the little activity on them has been scarce.

On P25 side however, you can hear them being called on Command when they are being requested by any SCPD and then they usually switch down to whatever precinct was requesting.
