Any idea of what the Fighter Jets use over the new york city area that are patrolling? There has been increased patrols the past couple days here in monmouth county nj heading north into nyc and then back south again toward FDX

Multiple occasions this year they have flown 2-4 in formation across the Raritan bay. And back

I saw 4 fighters today go north over the Raritan Bay. But they're is no patrols. They were just transiting through the area.
