Any tricks or anything special I need to know about programming this system in a psr500 or is it pretty straight forward?

Best way is to use the software and download from RR.
but its pretty simple just make sure you do the step offset and base.

Ok well maybe I don't have it programmed correctly. I didn't do the step offset and base. I don't really want to pay for the download. But I also don't understand the offset and base part. Could you steer me in the right direction?

Tbendick, thank you very much for your help. I programmed in the custom tables. This is what I did if you could double check me.
Table 1: Lo channel: 380 Table 2: Lo channel: 560
Hi channel: 559 Hi channel: 759
Offset: 380 Offset: 560
Base: 482.000 Base: 483.000
Step: 12.5 Step: 12.5

I didn't know if the second offset frequency was suppose to be 560 or 570 so I guessed and used 560.
Also I programmed in all 23 frequencies in the system in no particular order.

So I'm pretty sure I got the custom tables correct except for the second offset. It says it could be 560 or 570. I tried both but no luck with either. When I analyze the frequencies I'm picking up transmissions so I know I got something wrong. Any help?

My settings for the PSR600 which have worked successfully on this system are:

Lo 380
Hi Channel 65535
Offset 380
Base 482.0000
Step 6.250 (not 12.5Khz)

This should work for you.

Regards,
Rich
