Hi,

I was monitoring 483.5375. noticed that 161.190 is being rebroadcasted on UHF.

my question is, are the trains planning on moving the current VHF radios to UHF in the near future. or is this freq going to be used for interop communications

It's not a simulcast. It's a harmonic image.

161.19 x 3 = 483.57

i looked the freq 483.5375 up on the fcc database. it is valid uhf freq for the MTA subways
