New York Center controller on 134.325 is BOOMING in central Balt. Co.
Must have switched sites or something.
Check it out!!!!

Ok, NYC is on 134.325. Is this an aircraft freq. or were you listening to something that sounded like normal public safety communications? If hearing the public safety stuff, you may have picked up an image of a freq. farther up the band.

134.325 + your scanner IF freq and some number crunching and you can solve the mystery.

No he was quite specific - this is the ZNY NY ARTCC, referred to as a 'Center'. ARTCCs control flights at various altitudes once an aircraft goes beyond a specified limit from a given airport or waypoint. See this page for a list of Centers and frequencies. Jack's log was from the Westminister sector of the Millville NJ RCAG. 73s Mike

No doubt about it...It was a controller from ZNY.
It is amazing all they have to do is probobly flick a switch and be able to
control a site a hundred or so miles away!!
