NYC Sheriff Talkgroups

Does anyone know if they switched to the DOITT P25 system? I haven’t been hearing them on the DOITT UHF system.

Have you listened for them on the P25 system UHF cell? The talkgroups are listed in the database, have been for some time.

I don’t know how I over looked seeing those talkgroups in the database. My apologies!

No worries, just wanted to make sure that you were aware they've been there for a few months. I assume they're active on P25, as surely no one would submit anything that wasn't yet active.

If they have completed the migration from SmartZone to P25, could someone please submit that confirmation to the older system so we can remove the talkgroups, thanks.

Gotcha, I know about 3 weeks ago I heard them on the smartzone system. I’ve been monitoring their talkgroups on the smartzone system the past few days and haven’t heard a peep. So I guess it’s safe to say they’ve switched over.
