NYCOMCO EDACS Possible issue

Has anyone else been noticing missed transmission on the Beacon site? This has been going on since late last week. I am noticing the issue on 3 seperate devices. Radios will stop on a talkgroup with activity but no audio or RIDS come through.

Watching the LCN activity on UT doesn't show any LCN changes. However, what I have noticed every other rotation through the LCNs no audio passes through.

For what reason would they change an LCN? I see Walker, Port Ewen and Beacon have been changed according to the DB

Two of the frequencies from Beacon were "loaned" to Arden a few years ago when Orange County took back their licensed frequencies that were in use at the site. Those two frequencies were reactivated at Beacon recently.

The existing LCN's were not changed, just a change in site capacity.

The top three LCN's on Walker have not been used in some time so they were cut from the list.

The traffic level at Snake Hill has dropped so NYCOMCO shut off one channel.

I am presently logging Sam's Point and it appears one channel there has been shut off in the absence of Orange Co traffic. Towards the end of the week I will submit the change.

After that a fresh look at Schunnemunk is on the agenda.
