Nypd Helicopter

I seen a NYPD helicopter flying in south jersey today around noon. He landed at Millville airport (probably for fuel.) Anybody else see him or know what he was doing this far south

Under normal circumstances do you hear the NYPD helo on Citywide, S.O.D, and whatever precinct they'd be operating in, or does it have its own specific frequency?

I seen it just south east of the airport, then they call MIllville airport on there freq of 123.65 First time I ever seen them or heard them. Blue helio with big white NYPD on the side

i remember hearing on this form that the NYPD uses some of their choppers for something with the NJ forest fire service. that might be what it is but dont quote me on that not 100% sure on it. but also he might have been going or coming to get the chopper serviced.

While drinking at Martells Tiki Bar in Point Pleasant one evening, a NYPD Helicopter did a low fly over. Could not believe my eyes!!!! Not very professional if you ask me!!!!!

Hell, I get NJSP low flyovers over my house all of the time (at least it seems they are low) landing at Virtua Hospital, Voorhees.

On the Citywides? Yes, as needed (i.e.: on "Traffic" for traffic reports)
On SOD? Yes, for dispatch to assignments
On precinct channels? Yes, once dispatched to an assignment in one.
On it's own frequency? Yes, 123.100; their "Company" channel
