NYPD Patch to 155.475

This was mentioned on the NJ Board but I thought maybe it would get more attention on here. It seems certain NYPD channels are being simulcasted over 155.4750!! I don't know if this is on purpose or someone is just fooling around!! Since 155.4750 is simplex and I'm getting it full scale here in Woodcliff Lake. Any ideas??

Strange. Maybe the comms that are being simulcasted are ment for other agencies to hear (Feds, FBI, DEA, etc..).

What kind of communications are being simulcasted?

Do you know what frequencies are being broadcast and is any PL being used?

I heard SOD and I think a few of the Citiywides. I wouldn't normally post such a message unless I heard something particularly interesting, but two things about these transmissions raised my eyebrows. First of they came over 155.4750 and I didn't hear anyone answer they, so it's not a full blown cross-patch. Secondly the transmissions weren't anything to write home about. Just your everyday vehicle stops and other boring stuff, so that's why I think it was just someone goofing off. I originally posted it beca-use I was wondering if anyone else in NJ (or NYC for that matter) was hearing to same thing .
