NYPD SOD moved to CW2

this morning, NYPD SOD was moved from there regular frequency to CW2.
Does anyone know why?
Is this just for maintenance or something else?

This is done when there is an open carrier, or other interference.

Is SOD transmitted off 1 site with remote receivers in the field, or is it a simulcasted system?

I ask because there's also a separate SOD-SI frequency, so I guess when Central keys up - it goes off both frequencies at once.

SOD operates with transmitters and receivers throughout the five boroughs. Simulcast.

Simulcast and multicast with a lot of receivers throughout the 5 boros. Due to the terrain on SI it is a separate simulcast network. The dispatcher hears both inputs and transmits on both.
