NYPD's ends OWS in the middle of the night

On Citywide 2 the action is happening now. Sounds like a zombie attack hitting NY as the OWS scattered after a mid-night raid, with hundreds of officers, LRAD deployment and enough lights for a movie set.

Aviation is active on CW2 as well, tracking the groups of people, one with 40 and one with 200 individuals, moving around the city.

Cops shouting for reinforcements, asking for buses and vans to be staged (for future arrests), etc. Sounds like a blackout or New Year's Eve!

OWS protesters were certainly monitoring the scanners, 20 seconds after NYPD called for bolt cutters, it was tweeted by the OWS people.

This is exactly why I would not provide a CW freq feed. I would also encourage this feed provider to remove all CW freqs from his feed until tensions are over.

anyone who is currently providing the live feeds of the nypd cw1-3 should consider shutting it down until this ows demos end. protesters are listening to them and using the info as an advantage. this could get our officers hurt. please be considerate of that, remember, these officers haver families just like us. thanks.
