awhile back i would hear a nysp T G Z 3 car use 154.680 (167.9) to call to Princetown 155.445 (167.9) and now when I hear a T G Z 3 car call in the car is still using 154.680 (167.9) however when they call in they say 3G14 to comsec and then 155.445 (110.9) or 155.445 (127.3) responds. is nysp T G Z 2 Wilton 155.445 (146.2) and T G Z 3 Princetown (167.9) no longer being used. it seems as though the 127.3, 146.2 & 167.9 pl's are still being used on 154.680 the input frequency however the only pl's i am now picking up on 155.445 the output channel are 110.9 & 127.3

any input

It is because of Troop communication consolidation. COMSEC has replaced the Troop G zone stations with their own dispatch such as Princetown. COMSEC is Division Communications at Bldg 22 on the State Office Complex. Get used to hearing more Troops consolidate their dispatch into one center per Troop. I expect to "hear" Troop D do the same with Watertown consolidating to Oneida in the future.

TY 4 your response. so does this mean that i will no longer hear wilton 155.445 (146.2) and prinetown 155.445 (167.9) in use anymore when a troop car calls into base. is 155.445 (110.9) & 155.445 (127.3) going to be the only 2 base frequencies i will hear in use from now on.

troop car/base channel should still be operational where the former dispatch points used to be, even though it's likely not going to be used very much anymore. the infrastructure for the radio network is still in place at those locations. I'm not familiar on how Troop G works with COMSEC so you're research will probably be better than my guess.
