In the land of make believe
Sometime ago there was a threadon the NYS Bridge Authority but I don't think that the question was ever solved.

I see a license which appears to be an LTR system UHF but never hear anything on these channels, Does any one have any confirmed information on this user?

The Bridge Auth is using a 3 channel UHF - LTR system Each bridge has it's own system on the same 3 channels but has a difference talk groups assigned to the bridge ops.. The system basicly cover the bridge area and up to about 5 miles or so away .The repeator is not on any high hill that i'm aware of. And I beleive the radio there using are all kenwood . Have a good day

They might also be transmitting on 156.045 mhz, that channel is assigned to all 5 bridges.
