I know DPS has been offering departments all over the state a good price on a Federal LED lightbar/siren/controller package.

Nooooo

That is for now and will probably be the only OCPD car with a LED lightbar, atleast for a few more years anyway. Its a whelen bar given to OKC to use and see if they like it. Not tryin to be short with anyone but trust me i have had this conversation with several officers (and i do mean several). I know it pulls very few amps, no bulbs to replace, low profile less wind resistance, more visible, air1 can see them better, trust me i have heard em all. Dont get me wrong im not against them at all, i think theyre great but not likely gonna happen. Fed Sig makes a version of the vista which is what they are curently using but is all led however it costs about $3000 more. Sorry guys.

I've seen several with the rotators at the top of the light bar and the LEDs in the four corners. Red and Blue in front and Amber color for both rear. Very visible and probably a lot cheaper than a full on LED.

When OCPD finally gets around to changing their light bars, they will probably be the Ma/Com ProLIght Invisibars.... which can only be seen if you have a Ma/Com ProLight viewing tool.
