I know O' Hare Towing in Chicago area using 2-way radios in the dispatch system. I am having trouble finding their frequency in the database.

Does anyone know what the frequency(s) is ?

Thanks,

Ian

I watched one episode of that reality-TV series that features O'Hare Towing & my recollection of that episode is that it was abundantly clear they were using Nextels.

O'Hare Towing Trunked System

They are still using TG 61904 on the ESP Wireless 900 MHz Moto Type II system at Sears Tower.

Here's the active freqs I found for the system this past summer:

937.150
938.1625
939.1875
935.200
936.1625

There may be other freqs active as well, as I have not checked recently.
Video from Speed Channel's series "Wrecked" (which features O'Hare)
shows that they also use Nextel.

We only see a very small part of what goes on at that company. I'm betting that some use nextel but the bulk of the traffic is radio. The guys running the big rigs maybe the only ones with nextels. But this is just my guess

That summons it up, Nextel is not everybodies tool their. Just the people that are important or on call 24/7 or what may seem like it.

If you watch wrecked enough, you'll notice that they dispatch a ton of calls on the 900 mhz system. Not to mention the numerous antennas on the roof of the o'hare facitity inculding the 900 mhz one.

Thank you kevino for the frequency list. And thanks to everyone else for pointing out the Nextel factor.

Thanks,

Ian
