Just wondering if anybody knows what going on this channel 142-770 I am in the essex county area all I just heard is delta units talks to london comm about 401 highway shut down and a global news crew on the way and they are told to let them threw.

This is the province wide police common channel. If you are hearing something it might be posted on the hotshot site on Yahoo.

What you are hearing is, The OPP and The Toronto Police are shooting a Video to promote The Move Over Law. When you see a police or other emergency crews on the side of the road, move over. Global Tv is shooting the Video. Be Advised that the 401 East bound is shut down in this area.

Ya it was quite interesting, I guess that ambulance and fire were dispatched to the scene, but opp called london and told them to cancel, he must have been listening to a scanner to hear that.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful but why shut down one of the busiest highways in North America on a weekday to shoot a video? Why not on a Sunday morning?

Don't get me wrong, the video is a great idea to educate drivers. I just find the timing of it a bit odd.
