Has the Borough of Oakland police encrypted their police frequencies? Their channels have been very quiet for a number of days. Thanks in advance for any info.

Oakland uses selective encryption as indicated in the database as "Te" - it very well could be enabled at this time

Thank you. Normally I hear them. I think they must go encrypted for a few days but then go back open. It also explains why when things go down in the borough, I don’t hear it. Hopefully they will go back open soon.

They also for a period of time went to the Bergen County system(interops TG). When they did, their lowband repeater was not patched.
