OCBP has EDACS Model 300P radios issued and in use. This radio replaced Model PCS that they used for years. The PCS & I think the 300P radio both call "Individual Calls" "Special Calls". The radio(s) only display numbers for system & group as well as a pre-programmed list of individual calls as "Special-1,2,3 etc." When you hear them ask approval for Special-1, they are asking dispatch if they may make an individual call to them from their programmed list in the SRT's radio.
