Marion County Sheriff's and MC Fire Rescue are responding to a plane crash at the Ocala National Forrest. It appears to be a Military aircraft, possibly NAVY. Eyewitnesses state they saw a parachute deployed and it may have been the pilot... he is drifting with the wind gusts.

The pilot bailed out of the aircraft before it went down... he is stuck in some trees near route 46 near the Ocala Forrest. The MCSO arrived a short while ago near Highway 19 and began to enter the wooded area thru some locked gates to locate the wreckage. Engine 4 is arriving on scene, District 2 is assuming Command. The MCSO Deputy on scene reports that there is most likely LIVE ammunitions on board, and to be careful when approaching or extinguishing the fire. Also, he asked dispatch to call the FAA and the Military to notify them of this situation.

MCSO communications are on Ch. 1 tgid 1001 on the MC trunk system
MCFR communications are on Fire Scene 2 tgid 1105 on the MC trunk system.

At 20:18 hours, they located the pilot... he's up in trees, stuck, alert and the pilot states that ALL weapons are Un-Armed on the aircraft. He drifted 4 to 5 miles up wind during his parachute desent.
At 21:04 hours, official's from the U.S. Air Force have arrived at the crash scene.

Highway 19 Command reports only one person was in the plane... that would be the pilot who parachuted to safety.
