Occupy Wall Street Operations

Folks,

What channels, frequencies, systems and talkgroups are being used for the OWS public safety operations? NYPD seems to be running operations on the CW channels and nothing on normal dispatch. What other channels are the NYPD using? How about FDNY and EMS?

Any other interesting operations?

I'd love for us to diagram out how NYC is using communications to respond to and manage the protests.

All tactical operation are on CW 1 and CW 2. Traffic Control is on CW 3. Anyone who calls 911 with a protest related incident will be routed to the appropriate zone dispatcher.
If EMS or FD are needed it will be requested over CW 1 or 2 if its a detail unit requesting. If it a PCT unit requesting it will go thru the zone dispatcher as normal. EMS and FD will be dispatched via their normal dispatch area frequencies.
