OC Hotel/Condo listings are getting harder to find these days on FCC listings as seems more and more listed under anonymous LLC partnerships and some
also sign up with local private LTR radio networks and sometimes just plain old FRS/GMRS radios.
Glad you asked as search today revealed a lot of OC Condos and Hotels I had listed before are no longer listed.
Best bet is to use newer scanner like BC-246T with close call search and also do a band search 450-470 range and some older
radios in 151-153 range.
Not much to hear on Hotels anyhow except maybe room service going around.

The best listening in OC is their City 800 EDACS system for Beach patrol,Police,Fire etc.
System works well and if anything is going on in town you will know.
Check RR database board here for info...

Thanks, Mark.

We go out there every summer for a week and there's occasionally some security stuff happening that might be interesting. But typically, hotel comms are boring.

I went ahead and copied the O.C. EDACS system information into my BC-396T so I'll try that out on Saturday when I get there.

Thanks for the assist.

Larry,

I hope im not to late but if I remeber correctly they were in the 461 business band range. However I can remember the exact frequency.
